Grays Run begins in northern Lycoming County and flows south through Loyalsock State Forest until its confluence with Lycoming Creek near the town of Gray, Pennsylvania.  The monitoring station along Grays Run is located north of Gray, Pennsylvania, near the Dry Run road bridge crossing.
