The Moose Creek Watershed lies entirely within Clearfield County, PA.  Moose Creek flows southeast approximately seven miles to its confluence with the West Branch Susquehanna in Clearfield, PA.  The monitoring station along Moose Creek is located approximately three miles northwest of the town of Plymptonville, PA, in Moshannon State Forest.
