Watershed Overview

The Tioga River headwaters begin west of Troy, PA, and flow west through Tioga State Forest to Blossburg, PA, before turning north.  The Tioga River continues north through Mansfield, PA, and into Steuben County, NY, where it joins the Chemung River east of Corning, NY.  The entire Tioga River watershed extends from western Bradford County, PA, through Tioga County, PA, and into Steuben County, NY.  The monitoring station along the Tioga River is located in the headwaters, northeast of Fallbrook, PA.
