Alternate Hydrogeological Evaluation (AHE) Process: In-Person Technical Training for Consultants and Geologists

Susquehanna River Basin Commission

To be hosted at Susquehanna River Basin Commission Headquarters, 4423 North Front Street, Harrisburg, PA 17110 on May 25, 2022

Does your client have an SRBC groundwater renewal coming up soon? Does the expiring project have existing hydrogeologic data or is data needed to fill gaps? If so, understanding how to utilize the Commission’s new AHE will help simplify the renewal process.

Please join us for an in-depth discussion about the AHE Process and to work through example AHE project exercises! This workshop provides hands-on instruction with real examples and is an expansion of guidance recently provided by the Public Water Supply Assistance Program.

By attending this workshop, you will:

  • Learn how to effectively utilize and evaluate existing site-specific information during the risk-based review process.
  • Apply the AHE concepts for multiple real-world projects.
  • Interact directly with SRBC project review staff.
  • Receive a Certificate of Completion, documenting professional development hours (*PDHs) for Licensed Professional Geologists.
*In process of certifying workshop for New York-approved PDHs.
